I have a feeling I'm underpaid. Not sure by how much but I think it's significant. The ranges on glassdoor/payscales aren't that helpful. I'm trying to figure what range I should target when negotiating my next move.

What is a good option to exit into? I have overall 6 years in consulting (2 yrs as consultant, 2 years as senior consultant, and 2 years as managing consultant) with PMP/PMI-ACP/CSPO/CSM/LSSGB certifications and masters in data science at top 5 school in the world.. Should I be looking for senior manager positions or senior product manager seniors if I want to jump into the next level from my current managing consultant level?

Is this a good offer?
AWS engagement manager L5, internal facing (not pro serv) 97 base, 20k SO yr 1, 17 yr2, 21 RSUs. IM ~4.5 YoE with PMP, CSM, and very aligned background for the engagements. It comes out to years 1-4 tc of 120k, 125, 130, 140 not accounting for bonuses/raises.

Anyone CAPM/PMP certified here? I am planning to take up the assessment in coming months. Please help me with any information about this specially CAPM as I am currently not eligible for PMP.

Can I take the PMP even if I don’t have 3 years of management experience and just be a “PMP associate” or something until I have those 3 years (like how you can take the CISSP before you get the experience and be a CISSP Associate)?

Looking to get a few certifications, I have worked in both IT and HR consulting and am trying to decide between ITIL, SHRM, and PMP. Any thoughts on which would be best for future, quickest to get, hardest test? I get the cert paid for and a bonus upon completion, so trying to decide which one to pursue or the order if I want multiple.

I’m looking to get some certifications - what certain or programs have you found valuable? I already have a PMP. Want to level up my game/resume a bit.

Looking to exit into project management. Is the PMP or the PMI-ACP certification more relevant for hiring managers in industry? It seems that the PMP is more commonly listed in job descriptions as a prerequisite, but more orgs are shifting to Agile. Thoughts?

I’m trying to get a good idea on whether or not to leave my current firm. I have 10 YOE in the military (similar field) and departed active duty last year. I was offered 95k to start where I’ve been for the past year, but have already been offered much more for an industry position. I’ve done the PMP and CSM thing, am getting my TS/SCI now, and am about halfway through my MPA. Is it fair to tell my company I would only stay for at least $127k? Or am I just a complete noob? Located in San Diego.

I have 25 days to schedule my PMP exam and I haven’t done a thing to prepare. Should I just let it lapse and reapply? Has anyone done the test in that short amount of time?

I’m looking to get my PMP certification and my company just approved to cover the whole cost of course and test (typically we only get $500 for training per year) but I’m also actively interviewing. I know I’ll have to pay my current company back if I leave beforehand but is this something I could work into a new offer? It’s a lot of money for me to cover, but it’s pennies for the places I’m interviewing at.
