Has anyone used the Chase Sapphire Reserve trip delay benefit? When I check the benefit claim process, it says I’ll need a “statement from the common carrier explaining reason for delay.” How easy/hard is that to get? Airline is Lufthansa.

I am currently a Manager on H1b visa with a valid i140. If I were to go outside USA and work in managerial capacity for 1 year and come back on h1b visa into USA again, would I be able to upgrade to Eb1c later on? Or do I need to return on L1 to do this?

Hello, for my visa processing, experience letters printed on ex employers letter head is required?. The letter is not a simple relieving letter but has details of roles and responsibilities. Ex manager is OK in providing on email but doesn't have the letter head. Has any one got this from Deloitte? Pls share your experience

I am looking to get another credit card, wondering if anyone has any insights into good cards to get. I only have one card right now, which only gives me cash back. Trying to boost my credit score which has hovered around 800 for a year or so now. Is raising my score more even worth it? I’m only 22 and won’t need to get a loan anytime soon. I take my personal finance pretty seriously, have 3+ months rent saved, invest anywhere from $500-$1000 a month, net worth ~30k etc…

Has anyone here interviewed for AMEX strategy roles? Either Merchants or Consumer groups? Would love to understand the process a bit better, since the HR folks seem to be outsourced and are not able to articulate the process at all.

I am seriously worried. I am doing my co-op and my supervisor is not giving me an easy time. WWYD: I had an issue with a reimbursement request being bounced because my receipt didn’t line up with the amount charged on my business credit card. Turns out the server gave them selves an extra $10 tip (in addition to the 22% I had given). I’m inclined to let it go because it’s ten bucks and if the guy needed the money then whatever. But my company wants to make a stink about it. What do you think?

So I am in MC and I am on cusp to manager, I have Base of 120 and will expected to get to 145 after promo plus bonus. I do mainly ops work and really thinking of switching career path and want to chase finance dreams. Got offer for M&A at big 4 practice as SC but the pay is stupidly low like, 100k and no bonus. Will take big pay hit and have to start from bottom again. Is this worth it for a shot to banking later on?

If I buy a car from a private seller out of state where I’m paying off their lien, then there’s a delay until the bank and dmv sync up and release the lien on the title, does the car just have to stay with the seller or I have to pay to ship it to me? I don’t see how I can drive it back without the title, which is required to get a temp transport plate. Car is in Wisconsin I’m in Illinois, and lien is with Chase bank.

What’s the point in having the AmEx black card? It doesn’t seem to have better perks than the platinum and is insanely more expensive. Is it just prestige?
