I missed my connecting flight when there was a fire at my departing airport. I purchased gold travel insurance for my flight booked via AMEX travel. The airline rescheduled my flight and put me up in a hotel. Can I get coverage for the meals etc I purchased? How would I go about that?

How is the wlb in Amex?

Looking at getting a new card. Realistically, how important are the card’s transfer partners? Venture X is enticing since it’s lower fee and I already have the Venture One, but the hotel and airline transfer partners aren’t that great. Amex Platinum and CSR are more $ but better transfer hotel and airline partners.

BILT credit card actually good for rent? any reviews from properties not in their “alliance”?Been seeing a lot of ads for it lately since I have a couple of credit cards, AMEX plat is my main and CSR as secondary.

What is your law firm’s travel policy? Are you required to fly economy class or can you fly business class in certain cases (e.g., international travel, flights longer than X hours)? What about choice of hotels?

I payed for a service “pre-pay” and missed the appointment. They’re policy is that they will charge the full amount for the service. You can schedule another appointment and pay full price. Can I dispute this charge on Amex for no services rendered. I tried to contact the merchant and they did not consider my excuse valid. What should I do? Thanks!

I’m a noob and can use some help looking for rewards flights. I have some AA miles and AmEx points. I am looking for business class flights to Europe for summer vacation (June or July 2023). I am flexible with locations and dates, have searched for Italy, Spain, France, and Netherlands. On AA, one round trip ticket costs about 450K miles! AmEx is a 1% redemption rate, costs about $5K for a one way ticket. What’s the best way to search for low cost flights?

I currently have the Chase sapphire preferred and Hyatt credit cards. I mainly use the Hyatt just for its perks when I stay there and transfer my chase points to Hyatt since that is the hotel I am loyal to. I typical save my points for hotels as Hyatt has fantastic redemption. I am thinking of adding the Amex gold to the mix. Thoughts on that combo?
