Is my Amex payment due by the closing date? Dumb question potentially but want to ensure I’m looking at it correctly cause it’s less straight of an app than my other cards

My fiancé and I both have the CSR card and Freedom Unlimited combo and love them. We are thinking of adding another card and we were considering the Amex Platinum (to diversity transfer partners) or likely a United card for lounge access since we live in Chicago.

Does anyone else have both CSR and Amex Platinum? Would you recommend?

I’ll be joining amex in disputes (band 28). Salary discussion is yet to happen however, HR told me in our first discussion that the budget for this role is 7 LPA and she won’t go beyond that. My current CTC is 6.5 LPA. Should I negotiate on the salary once I receive the offer?

Have heard HR usually have a good margin and candidate should never accept the first offer even if the salary was discussed in the very first round.

Any Idea about why credit cards like AMEX in Italy offer very poor advantages compared to US? That’s annoying…

Travel very frequently (2-3x per month) and am remote with flexible work arrangement.

Between Capital One Venture X and AmEx Platinum. Which would you pick? The sign up bonus is equal but AmEx perks seem better.

Does anyone know if Amex platinum will have car rental coverage if I used a corporate code and called it a business trip? The code was with a previous company and while it has its own Insurnace, I won’t be covered since I don’t work there anymore + it’s not a business trip. (Have learned my lesson not to use the code anymore). I know for Amex you have to opt out of car rental insurance but not sure how it would work in this scenario

I'm new to the points game and just opened up an Amex Gold. I should be receiving 90k points soon once I hit the $4000 mark. I'm looking to book a flight from Tokyo to New York. (I also have almost 30k Chase points.) It looks like I can book United economy nonstop for 35k. Any tips and tricks for those who have transferred points before? I tried finding a cheap ANA (thru Virgin) business class seat hack, but it's either impossible or I'm doing something wrong haha.
