So I know droga is a sweatshop for creative. But what’s it like for strategy? My partner is interviewing for a senior comms role there and I don’t know if he should if he values his life.

How to know if an entry-level job is the right fit for you? Or even advertising?

In a final interview rounds for me, it feels like the upper-level folks are just asking me questions because they have to be there. I get nervous & shake very easily. People misinterpret what I say & I don't have time to correct myself.

I've only gotten feedback like, "They loved your enthusiasm/drive but went with someone with more experience." I don't know if it's me or if they've all just been bad fits.

If you’re interviewing at places and then receive a promotion at your current job (that you don’t like), is it bad to leave right after being promoted?

When I read the titles of those thought leadership pieces on LinkedIn so passionately written about ‘the next nexus of branding’ and such, i feel like I’m not really a part of this industry. I don’t ever want to read that muck, I don’t ever want to write that muck, and I don’t ever want to talk such muck in a job interview, new biz pitch, or holiday party. Am I in the wrong business?

So a recruiter gave me a weird/low-key verbal offer 3 weeks ago. A week ago I reached out & they said the team wrapped up interviews & they "should be making a decision before the holidays."

Well it's Christmas Eve now & yesterday on LinkedIn I saw them being thanked in a post about someone accepting an offer at an agency under the company I interviewed with. So she's giving offers out..

Should I reach out now, wait until Monday the 28th, or let them reach out to me? Should I assume it's a no?

Hey I’m interviewing at VMLYR - how are things over there?

I'm really focused on my career and on advancement, and have been interviewing at other companies for better opportunities. My fiancée wants me to stay at my current company because of the WL balance since it's a pretty lax job and allows me to spend time with my kid, but I want more out of my job. I just feel so stagnant. Should I just wait it out?
