What to expect during first phone interview (1 hour) with Sr Program Manager at AWS? Interviewing for security PM role.

After months of interview, I have not been able to secure an offer, and today, I was rejected by my dream company again after months' preparation. I am applying to Program Manager positions, I am starting to wonder, is it me or it's because Program Management is a "soft skill" and there are too many candidates out there? For the record, I am a high performer at Uncle D.

Been waiting anxiously for a call back from Facebook for a week. The recruiter just called me and told me I had incredible feedback from everyone except for one interviewer, an ex PwC manager, but her feedback was enough to cause them to not give me the offer. During our interview she was openly condescending and hostile from the very beginning and I never had a chance to prove myself. WHAT IS IT with ex consultants putting up so many barriers to people that were in the same shoes they were?!?!?

Please share your thoughts on what to do : got a decent offer from company A, $18k over my current pay. Have fast track interview tomorrow with company B. Expect similar package as company A. Will go out of country for vacation for two weeks, company C (big 4) is scheduling interviews in 2 weeks. Just had initial talk with Company D recruiter this morning. Role at A/B/D are senior tech roles while company C is a senior manager role. TBC below.

I am in the final stages of interviewing for 2 roles in parallel:
1. Level 7 leadership role at AWS. Role is a leader for Enterprise Customer Solutions.

2. Level 7 Customer Success Manager at Google Cloud.

Anyone recently applied for any received offers for either of these roles? I’d like an idea of what the max total comp can be. I have about 19 years of experience and based in Bay Area.

I have not heard back from the recruiter after interviews, but hiring manager recommended me for the role. Recruiter said she will get bank on Wednesday, nothing since then. Should I message recruiter or Hiring manager?

If a Senior Manager / Director from a Big 4 wants to jump to MBB or T2 (think OW, Kearney, LEK), what level could they aspire for? Consultant is too many levels down, is Engagement Manager / Project Leader etc possible and if so, recommended? Or is the advice not to jump and stick till Partnership at Big 4? (I am in the midst of an advanced round interview at a MBB and at a T2, but the levels have not been discussed very weirdly in both the cases)

What’s the easiest, free 10-20 hr SQL bootcamp? I have a SQL interview for an individual contributor role. However, I’ve been a manager for 6 years and can pretty much only write select * from at this point. Please help 🙏

What’s the going rate for a product marketing manager and a senior product marketing manager these days? Ranges would be helpful. I just started applying to jobs (after having been in a PMM role for 1.5 years at $120K) and compensation seems to be all over the board - regardless of years experience. Thoughts on sending a third thank you note to the Hiring Manager during the interview process?
We had an initial phone screen back in December, a Case Presentation a few weeks ago and for both I sent a thank you note. I’ve since moved on to the final round of interviews and she took 15 mins yesterday as a prep session so I know what to expect so curious if it is overkill at this point or not to send a third thank you note?

Had my last round interview about 10 days ago. What’s the best way to check in with the recruiter / hiring manager, without sounding too desperate? No other offers on the table, but really looking forward to receiving an offer.

I am moving geographies and so in a bit of dilemma. The hiring manager reached out for a consultant level role, a level down from my current title. She said the Sr. con role just filled up so either I could interview for consultant level position or wait for a few months when Sr. Consultant positions opens up. I have limited client facing experience since I went from backend to front end and also opportunity to move to desired geography. Not sure how to tackle this smartly. Any thoughts?

Am I in the wrong here? I had an internal interview directly after a virtual social event so I showed up dressed in a suit. When my coworkers asked why i am leaving a gave an honest answer about how I love working with customers and the days without customer calls and working 10 hours straight are just exhausting. Someone from that call passed that on to my senior manager and I just had a really uncomfortable call with my SM about being negative and demoralizing the team.

I have now been rejected from two other T2 strategy firms, and apparently the feedback is that “I have great experience” but they “are not moving forward with my candidacy”.

FWIW the hiring manager is in Dallas and they had the winter storm last week, but just trying to manage my own expectations as the hiring manager was quite vague in his direct feedback to me

Have an interview scheduled with a friend from undergrad - worth flagging to HR / the hiring manager for a potential conflict?

Seeking advice. I’m currently in the final round between company A and B. Company A is the job I really want and based on hiring manager’s feedback, I’m a top candidate for the job. I have no intention of taking an offer from company B, even if I didn’t get A. Should I just drop out of my final round with company B? Or is there value in keeping the interview to leverage with company A?

Comp and location similar. Im leaning second option because I want the title bump / don’t want to take a step back again.
