McKinsey & Company 3 years into my career as a consultant and thinking about going to MBA next fall (F22). A friend at McKinsey & Company referred me but for a Business Analyst role. Is it worth applying and pushing back b-school plans or should I apply to b-school and try to switch firms then?
Kearney 🐠: considering applying for an associate position but I’m concerned I’m not experienced enough and may be better suited to the senior business analyst role. My details: Applied science undergrad, MSc in Strategic management from top European B school, 3 YOE at big4 consulting (public sector and consumer goods project exp.) any suggestions/thoughts as to which role I should target are greatly appreciated!

Bain & Company I’m currently prepping for Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company interviews scheduled in the next 2 months. For those that interviewed with both, how would you suggest I tailor my preparation for each one? I understand McKinsey is interviewer led while Bain is the opposite. But other than that, is there anything else I should work on separately for each one?
