I am in the final round of interview with Bain(BCN) for a role of a Project Manager Pricing Retail at CoE based out of Gurgaon. How is the work balance there? Also getting close to 14L(expected)? Is that low. FYI I don't have MBA.

Fishes who are/ were staffed on engagements in PMO role: What do you do when you are supposed to be a Project Manager but there is no "project"?

I just started on new engagement. There may or may not be a "project" eventually, but there isn't one yet. All my client wants now is my help with managing day-to-day activities and tasks and has no interest in "brainstorming" on what this hypothetical project might entail.
Meanwhile, my Eng Partner is demanding to see a detailed project plan.

Recruiter reached out about a project manager role - I’m currently a Sr. Consultant and don’t have “4 years of project mgmt experience” as noted on the job description.

Role at a smaller shop is really asking for it all.

I've been going back and forth with a recreuiter about a position at a smaller creative agency, when I've been in big media agencies my whole career.

It falls within the realm of Project Manager but the job description is literally 30 bullets long that encompasses new biz, copywriting, account mgt, sales, strategy, creative direction, and finaly project mgt.

I'm trying not to see this as a red flag, and more as an opportunity. Any thoughts?

Can you pivot to product managment, something in operations, internal strategy group, or just boomerang back to consulting? Is 70k to 75k for a Project Manager position (job description asks for 2-3+ YOE) a fair salary in NYC? Should I ask higher?

I have an offer but I’m honestly not understanding the difference between a C, SC, and M role. Of course I know it depends a lot on the engagement. How does a project manager role in industry look in terms of “prestige”, compared to Big 4 consulting? Applying to MBA programs and wondering what would look better in the eyes of the Ad Comm.

I recently got an offer for a producer role that I believe was too low b/c it involves working with devs, dev work myself, and has the combined responsibility of project management and production.

In search, "producer" yields much different results ($$ wise) from "project manager", and from "technical" + "producer/project manager"

What does senior project manager role in Amazon map to in the Big4? Looks like they have multiple levels with the same name..

Trying to find a role at Google, salesforce, AWS or any other tech company (or media) in bizops/strategy or program management. 3 years Big 4 experience in program management, 5 years industry as a project manager before that in consumer goods/lifesciences.
I've had no luck, so far all rejections and it's been like 2 months and I'm worried about getting the axe.
