Currently consulting at Accenture federal. Been working here ~6months. Want to jump to a role that is more demanding/where I can learn more (the govt is sooo slow). What would you guys recommend for recruiting and how soon to start networking/applying?? Would love to move to nyc (currently based in DC). Could I apply for a senior consultant role?

1A) When is the best time to exit MBB? Senior consultant trying to figure out if it's worth sticking it out to hit M in a year or SM in 2 years, or if I should jump now because the next few years are only going to be extra stressful.

1B) What are typical roles Cs/junior Ms at MBB exit to? How do you make sure you don't get a recent MBA grad job despite not have the specialist knowledge that SM+s have? Industry agnostic, just looking for reasonable pay, sustainable hours, and happy people

Had an interview with PwC just before Christmas for a senior associate role with one of the acceleration centers and have not heard back yet. Should I wait until I get my Senior Associate title before exiting (~1/2 yr from now)? I don’t know if the title will majorly change exit opps, and I’m wondering if I should be sending out tons of apps while the market is still hot.

Just got a verbal offer as a Senior Manager at a B/C round startup. Role would be in Product Strategy for their key product (Hardware) in a hot field. Would be based in NYC. Offer is 170k + equity which is currently being decided - was only told it would be sizeable.

Currently have 5 YOE. To complicate things I also got accepted to MIT Sloan. Is this a fair offer, and good enough to skip MBA?
