Is it still possible for an accountant from a corporate company to work in external audit firm with no huge decline in salary grade? Per my knowledge salary in external audit is very low unless you're a Partner ✌

Is there a salary difference between a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A and a Senior Accountant? Assuming you have the same amount of accounting experience when applying for each position.

Senior accountant salary expectations for someone with three years at PwC with CPA? I work in a HCOL and am considering LA/Boston and have seen recruiters state anything from 75K to100K salary with bonus and stock (sometimes)

Applied for a government job as an accountant today. Base pay is 40% higher than what I’m making now as an A3, assurance, LCOL. As a matter of fact, base pay is higher than my total comp at PwC (that’s base plus bonus and the value of all benefits). Are government jobs competitive to get into?

Anyone familiar with salary in orange county (SoCal) and LA/El Segundo area? Interviewed for a senior accountant role in a public health care industry in Irvine, but their maximum pay is 85K. I thought Irvine should have pretty good pay too but this surprises me. Even a private Healthcare company in El Segundo pays more than that for the same role but with even lesser experience and easier job duties...

Is this salary too low? I'm @ final interview for senior accountant and job posting said $60-65k. Before you say it's too low right away, my experience is on a low end of this of this role. Just 1 year auditer @ national top 10, 6 months intern at same firm, 1 year accounting intern at local private firm, and 2 years doing AP clerk. I'm a licensed CPA and in MCOL. I really want this title for growth but don't want to get stiffed. It's a large corp w/ great benefits.

Hey all. I really need some opinions on this position I was just offered in Plano TX. The position is for a senior accountant role with a base comp of $90K-$95K and 10% bonus. I’m not too familiar with the area but the role is remote for the next couple of months and I was wondering if that’s a decent salary for that area. Thank you in advance! 

24 yrs old, Macc, 1.5 yrs PwC tax experience, 1/4 done with CPA. Salary still capped at 55.5k.

Just received an experienced tax accountant offer from a company for 75k with 10% bonus after 1 year, same promotion structure as PA (SA,Manager, etc.).

I should probably take this right? I believe a top tier SA on my PwC team with several years experience was making 75kish.

Considering 2 industry job offers - #1 is a mid-size software company, $70k + $5k signing bonus. #2 is a mid-size fintech company, $83k. Hi all, I am needing some help with a salary negotiation. I am trying to relocate to Pittsburgh area. I have 3.5 years of experiences now and getting offered between 80k-85k for base salary for a senior accountant or reporting analyst position. Does this sound about right?
