My current salary is 20+3(fixed+variable). Accenture Strategy ACN is offering me 25.xx(fixed)+27%(standard on-paper variable) for Consultant role. This is ~25% hike on my fixed
My notice period<1 month, so I will be joining early.
Are they low-balling me - Shouldn't I expect a min. 30-40% hike?
I tried negotiating with HR and she says, " This is the best we can offer and she will get back"
Did someone face a similar situation? do they come back with a revised offer. I am expecting atleast 28.

Contemplating an offer from EY Parthenon. Columbia Business School MBA with 5 years cumulative experience (4 years pre-MBA and 1 year in executive strategy for media and entertainment post MBA; no experience in consulting though). $170K + $10K signing bonus for Consultant I level. Should I be negotiating or is this a fair offer? I thought I have enough experience to come in at Consultant 2? If so what would be a good compensation for C2?

What are you supposed to say during an initial recruitment screen the recruiter asks you what salary range you are looking for, but you’re not sure what the range is for that job and you don’t want to undersell yourself. For example, deloitte called and asked what would be my range be for a GPS supply chain consultant role in DC, I said 110-120. Is this within standard range?

Hi, looking for some advice here. I’ve just received a job offer as a senior consultant (remote) at a boutique consulting firm for $115K (will bump up to $120K at the end of the year if I meet the targets for the remaining year). I have 4 yoe and I feel like this is definitely under industry standards, as I’ve heard numbers between 130-150 for senior consultants at other firms. Can anyone validate this range as industry standards and also provide some advice on how to negotiate a higher salary?

Need advice! Current: Mid-size firm as an A, expecting promotion to SA in July. 71K salary and not sure how much the raise with promotion will be (10-15%?) I like my firms culture, have great opportunities, and a great support network. Was recruited by Deloitte for a Consultant position in the same service line for 107K. So much more money but I know the culture at Deloitte isn’t great. Money/reputation > culture/balance??
