What is the top end of Engagement Manager comp at OW? ciB.

Got an offer of 12 LPA back in March. Manager told me that IBM wants to retain me with a promotion + a retention bonus. I stayed. Got my retention bonus but for the promotion, they said that the tool will open in July. Manager asked me for all my certificates, recommendations and appreciation mails few days back.

Today, I've got another offer of 12 LPA and I am still waiting for my promotion. Not sure if it will happen in September or October.

Should I take the offer or wait for the promotion?

What does "Consulting Technical Manager" at Oracle Inc translate into into level - M3 , IC4 ? Also what will the indicative RSU will be ? Trying to negotiate an offer - Base is approx $175K + RSU. Why do some people say that the senior level at big tech (e.g., L6 at AWS) correlates to senior manager level at big 4?

I get it from a comp perspective since comp is just that much higher. But from a scope/skills perspective, I find it hard to believe that L6 is closer to SM than it is to SC.

Is 250k TC for a Director level position in industry the average for someone exiting a 200k TC manager position in consulting? Total 10 YOE with last 3 in consulting. Is the compensation and jump in title worth putting my small family through the trouble of relocating between coasts? Not sure I will see many more Director level exit opportunities if I let this pass and keep looking closer to home.

But they have not included that bonus % in the offer letter. For those who have worked at PwC, is this a norm? Have you seen them follow through the Bonus payout? Does the bonus % change significantly from YOY? What are the individual objectives/targets that need to be met at the Sr Manager level to earn the bonus?

Just got an offer for manager from another firm and I know Accenture won’t give me the promotion until after the year-end reviews. How can I have the conversation to get a retention bonus now? I’ve already been signaled promotion is highly likely after reviews. Any tips on how to navigate? 15% raise.
