Question about negotiating when hired-- During negotiations would it be weird to ask for an annual review for promotion until I am promoted to senior producer? Usually people ask for vacation or salary but i'm more concerned about making a title jump and not sitting at the same position for three more years.

Is it all worth it?
I started out in PA 01/16 at 60k and full of energy at a midsize firm in NYC Audit, I stayed for 2 years shortly after I made senior for a few reasons but I digress, I went to a top 10 PA and stayed for 7 months making 75K and got a small bonus, work life balance was worse, all new clients and shit absentee managers and way more miserable staff/Seniors, at that point I had enough after 3 busy seasons and a culture that was eat your hours and grind as a plebe for continued....

How reliable is the Robert Half guide for salaries? I'm not Big 4, in Seattle and considering a switch, but not sure what salary range I should be looking for. Would likely just be a switch of firms, but still manager or senior manager level.

This summer I’m due for a promotion to senior in the transaction services practice at a consulting firm that’s a direct competitor to the Big 4. I’d like to move to Big 4 for a better salary, even if it comes at the cost of worse hours. Pros: Large team with defined upward mobility, industry leader, amazing culture
Cons: requires relocation

2. Fortune 500 tech. Senior Manager Sales Strat for a new BU. Base: $200K. Bonus: 15%. RSU: 2500 shares that vest over 4 yrs (@ current stock price ~$150k)

Pros: work remote, 🤑
Cons: struggling business, long hours, lean team, grinding culture

Strategic analytics vs FP&A? Currently evaluating two opportunities: one is in strategic finance which focuses on using analysis/modeling to make strategic growth decisions. The other is in FPA which will do a combo of forecasting and special projects. Comp wise is similar but FPA is slightly more senior title. Cant decide which one I should go for. Please help!
