Hello I want to transition into a role of customer engagement manager - can make over 100k per year. WFH highly preferred.
I have a masters in healthcare admin. I’m currently a client care manager (basically a case manager) for an unskilled homecare agency managing 1100 service hours and over 70 active caregivers. My goal from the beginning has been to move up in healthcare in some capacity, but if I can transition into this role outside of healthcare I would be open. Any advice?

How do you keep active while WFH? I’m 39 diagnosed with early menopause if that’s relevant, and I’m 8 pounds overweight, although I eat healthy most of the time. I did a calorie deficit for 3 weeks of 1200 - 1400 calories and didn’t lose a gram, but on the other hand I can eat all I want for days and don’t gain any weight, so I think my body is in plateau. As diet didn’t work for me much, I think the key is movement/exercise during the day. Any tips of motivation to get out of my house?

So I just accepted an offer for a remote position with a small firm that starts in December. What should be the level of communication I should expect from now until then? Weekly check in? Bi weekly?

Software Engineer in Spain, 8 YOE,
received two offers.

“Startup” (7 years old - cash positive - 100 people):
- base 90k
- ~10% bonus (could be 0 though)
- no equity
TC: 90k

Public company - 3B revenue:
- base 62k
- equity 20k
- bonus (undisclosed)
- remote
TC: 82k

Both US based. Role/title is higher for the startup, but the company is not at my fav location, no remote option and loads more responsibilities.

Opinions? Can I try negotiate the public company offer?

I recently interviewed with an agency through a recruiter—the job posting, agency, and recruiter all confirmed that this would be at *most* a hybrid role (which to me means 2-3 days a week of in-office, am I wrong there?). I spent hours preparing for this interview only for the interviewer to show up 11 minutes late, blame it on “Zoom problems”, then say “we offer *two days of remote work per YEAR*”. I hung up and politely asked everyone involved not to contact me again. Unprofessional.
