I have a friend who just started a new job-went from a big ad agency to a small start up. The boss at the new job wants to create the company website to show generic work. No actual clients, just work with made up company names. They have many clients that they work with-but won’t show them online. I have never heard of this? Why would someone do that? Isn’t it counterproductive to show fake companies and work? How can they discourage their boss that’s not a good idea without offending them?

What would be a competitive earning for a Director of Sales at a SaaS company in Israel?

I’ve been in my current position (Bookkeeper) for 4 years now. I’m highly interested in taking the PHR, and I’m wondering if I would qualify for the 4 year HR professional job requirement to be eligible to test for the certificate. I work for a small business, therefore I do all the on boarding paperwork/payroll. Any advice is appreciated.

I am a Sales Executive with over 16 years over experience with FedEx. During the Pandemic I took a risk and moved to a different industry. Unfortunately my new company was greatly impacted by the pandemic and on Thursday I lost my job due to downsizing.
I have a great track record of success and sales awards in every position I have held. I also have an MBA.

Hi everyone! In this field, when choosing a masters degree program is it more beneficial to get a degree in Human Resources to further my knowledge in HR (my undergraduate degree is in Economics) , an MBA, or Data Science Degree due to the fact that HR is becoming more data driven as well as get a PHR / SHRM-CP certification?

I’m currently working with a senior level HR candidate. This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m curious is anyone else having difficulties play some candidates like this? At this point I’m starting to think it’s racial or her sex based of the lack of interest in this candidate. My friend received two job offers for Account Executive roles: a Mid-Market role with Confluent and an Enterprise role with ThoughtSpot. He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Confluent is a lucrative product to sell and has established SDR reps so there’s a good blend of inbound and outbound sales. Thoughtspot is more of a startup culture where most of the sales comes from outbound and it’s a tougher sell.

Any copywriters (in branding/otherwise) currently report to a strategist instead of a CD? Trying to have an open mind about them approving copy without judgement but it’s like pulling teeth for me.

What would you do if a coworker returned to the office 5 days after testing positive and did not wear a mask in the common area their second day back? Still within the 10 mask period per CDC. Office policy is to adhere to current CDC guidelines. The coworker moved to the back of the room approximately 7 feet away and laughed about it with the only other unvaccinated coworker. What is the drug culture like at your office? I assume people don’t openly talk about what they do in their free time if illicit, but they may do so quietly or you can otherwise tell.
Do you get the impression many people do them? If so, soft drugs (ex - weed)? Hard drugs? Non-prescribed study drugs? Frequency? At work-sponsored social functions? To an extent that it’s noticeable/problematic?

Gay man who works in a large org that is big on diversity and inclusion efforts. I’d say about 50-60% of people (at all levels, across all age groups and races) list their gender pronouns in email signature. I list mine because I see it as a way to show support for colleagues who may not be cisgender. If anyone else works in the same type of environment, do you infer anything about colleagues who choose not to list their gender pronouns? (such as they are homo/trans phobic?)
