Good Afternoon and Happy Friday everyone! I work for a larger fulfillment center and I am tasked with coming up with some new ideas to do for team member engagements. Usually once a week we hand out cookies, chips or popcorn with Gatorade. This is for close to 1200 team members. Does anyone have any great ideas?
Would my bosses let me move to work in a different state? I work as an internal consultant within KPMG, working for the firm within the internal HR team. I have been with KPMG for 5 months but I am wanting to move back home to be with my family - on the other side of the country. There’s only a 2 hour Timezone difference and I’d make sure to work on current time. My line manager I report to lives in another state to me anyway - and it seems to work well for her. Am I pushing my luck to ask?

What do you do on Monday to get your week set up? I feel like I spend so much time helping my team get their pipelines in shape for the week / setting up a plan.
What are the key components of your performance review process? The data points we currently use are manager and self scoring of a scorecard for each employee (scorecard outlines mission for the position, outcomes, and competencies) as well as peer feedback based on the competencies of the position (thought being a manager only has so much insight to a person’s day to day, especially in a matrix org). What am I missing?

I'm an HR Generalist with about 7 years of experience. What is the best way to learn more about Compensation? I've always wanted to dive deeper into that area of HR, however, until recently, I only have ever worked at larger organizations that claimed there wasn't time to cross train me or to help with comp projects. Would it be beneficial to take a step down and try to find an Jr comp analyst position? Is there a program I could participate in to learn specifically about the nuance's of compensation?
Hi guys, I have worked in an international b2b sales role, my manager who is located in US offered to give me a reference letter, it was aligned that I will compose the letter for him to sign ...In my EU country were we typically don’t do these documents .....I found some examples in the internet but would be interested to see some real life sales specific letters..... what is mandatory for such document to be included and how did yours look like ...would appreciate any input from your side
As a salesperson I generally take the approach of keeping my opinions to myself, if a customer asks me something directly I'm not going to lie to them I'll share what I believe in a respectful way. In other words I don't try to force my views on anyone, but lately our world seems to be more and more polarized on everything, and everyone is offered just by knowing you don't share the same views as they do they can't imagine their opinion isn't the only one. How are you handling these situations?
HELP: I have been a TA for 5 yrs, and prior my role was HR/recruiter.I have tried to get out of TA and move into HR but I am having a difficult time. I have applied to entry level HR roles, simply to “start” fresh, and have not seen any luck for 2yrs.It’s not that I don’t like TA, but my company has no growth option and I am stuck at a dead end, unless a magical spell is casted. I have also applied to other TA roles as well, in hope to get industry experience. How can I better market myself?

If I want to get into my community and rub shoulders with HNW individuals, what’s the best way to do that? By your own experience, which clubs or organizations do the wealthy tend to congregate? Any success stories out there? I’m kind of under the impression that joining clubs and orgs for meeting these types of potential clients is a dead end as the wealthy stick to themselves, focus on their work, and spend time with their families.
