Started as a baby legal assistant about ten years ago at a transactional firm - now the majority (seven years) of my experience is in litigation. Does anyone else feel the need to agree with counsel for other parties in cases where there are dozens of parties? Or when there are many attorneys attending a deposition, the need to limit your questions to make time for everyone? I’m young and it seems like I feel that pressure more than other senior attorneys in cases, and I wonder if I should adopt their mindset. I just want to also look reasonable amongst other local lawyers and not pompous or unnecessarily combative.

I am 8 weeks pregnant. Just went in for my lab results and my progesterone is super low. This is a significant signal that the pregnancy is ectopic or otherwise non viable. We're going in for an ultrasound early next week to find out more.

This is keeping me up. Is it okay to ask the school principal if she can have her camera off when she signs on to observe my lesson. I have anxiety about being observed when teaching virtually especially at the time she was available to sign on. Just a very difficult group. Despite trying so hard to engage them, they don’t participate and are withdrawn from my lessons. I just don’t want be so conscientious of her facial expressions should something go awry. Worried that it will make it worse.
