Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

I’m at ACN, but take the job that gets you closer to your longer term goals + makes you happiest. Remember why you decided to entertain another offer and make sure whatever you choose solves it. If you decide to change your mind - let your recrtuiter know ASAP.
As an aside, the stock has been rising exponentially at ACN over the past two years and there’s no sign of it slowing down. I would also look at benefits closely.
ACN is a way better brand name than GH and will have infinitely more opportunities for growth. Assuming you are early in your career, take ACN.

Reneging is not a big deal at all, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. ACN isn’t about to lose sleep over one consultant. You may be burning that bridge (hard to say since I can’t tell you if they track this type of thing) but at the end of the day take the job that you’re most interested in and feel the most fairly compensated for.
Go to ACN and then refer me.

ACN recruiters ping me all the time. So far I prefer Guidehouse. There are alum over there though, just reach out.

Lol do not take the GH offer
You are still early in your career - go with your gut. You have a long career and recover from a mistake or two. Having said that, personally I’d take up a job that makes you feel the best about your future.
Congrats either way!
In general, you want higher salary on a lower title so you’ll have bigger bumps
Another consideration - assuming the ACN offer is a lateral move, you’re getting the pay bump while maintaining similar expectations/responsibilities, where your GH opportunity is taking on increased expectations/responsibilities. Just one other thing to consider in addition to what others have said.
Get out!!! Get out!!! Get out!!! The way GH leadership is navigating the boat iceberg is on the horizon so leave before the ship sinks
Found out MC pay band is 90 to 170. Me and some other MCs are at low 100s with close to 10 YOE. GH doesn't wanna do any adjustments even though they know we are underpaid. So yea is pretty messed up
Does ACN offer a stock discount plan?
Yes they do!
Curious what the Guidehouse offer was if you don’t mind sharing!
Also curious because we don’t find our promo + new comp for a while still

I lean toward staying, but ask for a bigger counteroffer. 2 or 3 years from now, it will be easier to jump for (or just get) a promotion to Manager, whereas you may still be a consultant at Accenture trying to get to SC, which means longer time to Manager.
