Any over the counter meds out there (effective ones) that help or prevent from glowing red after drinks? Targeting our asian community out here. Please advise. Much love ❤️

IA1 - i just googled Zantac and the first question a user had asked was “how is Zantac with alcohol”? And the answer was “you should avoid drinking alcohol while taking Zantac — it can increase the risk of stomach damage.” You tryna kill me here bro?

Buddy of mine takes pepcid before heading out. He doesn't turn red anymore but he has passed out in my bathroom fwiw

I use Pepcid, but you have to remember to take it 15-20 min before your start drinking or it won't work.

Yes, eating before drinking. I've never done the pepcid thing before so I can't comment on that

I’ve tried a bunch which all didn’t work :( maybe try ordering the kale vodka - that one seems to reduce redness but not completely

I've given up on drinking and having to deal with Asian flush in work situations. I just sip on diet Coke. When I go out with friends and I want to drink I typically take pepcid - but even then it's not 100% effective

Really need some help here. Will be meeting clients in the coming weeks and will likely be followed by drinks. Can’t give them the wrong idea after turning red with just one drink. Thats how it is for me. Sad life

I use antacid, Kirkland brand. Take 30 min before drinking, and ease into the drinking.

If you take a Zantac ~30 minutes before you start drinking you should be good to go.
