Hello! I’m a Talent Acquisition Manager at a 300 FTE sized gov contractor with 2 recruiters under me. One of my recruiters and I are both having babies in August and will be out for 12 weeks. She’s only coming back part time. My leadership already said no to hiring another full time recruiter. Has anyone had any good experience with contract recruiters? Or any advice for a short term solution?

Hey everyone! At what stage do you think it would be appropriate to share that I am currently on an H-1B work visa? I got reached out by the CEO regarding an opportunity they are recruiting for. I applied and have made it to the final round of interviews that’s this week. In the application they didn’t ask about sponsorship or anything, and I didn’t want to automatically disqualify myself by telling them before giving my final round presentation. I joined a competitor company due to toxic boss in June 2022 which my previous company has got idea about and have still not recieved F&F money and experience letter since 3 months.
In the offer letter it was written that I am prohibited to join competitor company after resigning but I got to know from sources that such contracts don't hold any relevance. Top SDRs oftentimes don't sound like traditional salespeople when cold calling. They use a very casual voice tone.

Here are a few tips:

1. Avoid upward inflections at the end of sentences. This makes it sound like everything you ask is a question
2. Slow down and eliminate buzzwords. Speaking fast makes you sound nervous and less confident
3. Avoid reading from a script - internalize your message and put it into your own works so you sound like YOU!
