Men are gross though so this usually encourages them. I usually go with “Thanks, but I’m not into dudes.” It’s not subtle but, again, men are idiots

Thanks for the responses! TBH I feel pretty uncomfortable vocalizing my orientation in a professional setting...I guess you can call it a mix of shyness and fear of backlash/discrimination.

I totally understand. Hopefully you work at a firm where they’re open and inclusive. Maybe reference your participation in Pride activities this month or if you have a queer engagement group in your firm, your work in that?
