Career advice please: my background: 2018 law grad, 3 years post-grad state judicial clerkship, and 2 years of commercial litigation + commercial real estate experience at a very small firm. Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? Corporate / M&A folks making moves over the last few months: Got an offer from a top 50 lockstep AmLaw100 firm. 4th year. Not NYC but in a market that was recently bumped up to the previous Cravath scale market. Base is obviously set. What should I expect / negotiate for signing bonus, year-end bonus eligibility, special bonus eligibility, etc.? Any other negotiation considerations? I would say leverage is on my side considerably.
