I joined EY recently as senior manager, I am thinking to switch in probation period due to following reasons:
1. HR offered me lower than market standard citing my previous ctc.
2. Not eligible for current cycle appraisal or bonus
3. Unrealistic expectations of knowing internal tools and processes without any onboarding trainings..
4. 80-85% non technical responsibilities
Anyone in my shoes faced similar issues and does it change over time?

At what age did you sell your first project?
Bonus? RSU? I think you’re thinking of Accenture MDs. Partners are owners of the company. They have a comp calculated on the projected firm profits for the coming year with a percentage advanced to them over the fiscal year. There’s then a year end final payout with an adjustment by for actual firm performance. No RSUs you have an equity stake in the firm.
As your target compensation increases you’re expected to inject an incremental amount of equity into your capital account. The capital loan process usually covers this increment in a similar fashion to the initial capital. Of course you could pay the increment from your own cash but with the way the partner capital loan versus capital account interest works most just use the loan.
Yes, MD. The additional compensation not salary each year is what I’m most interested in to help understand what it looks like at that next level.
If you were actually one level below this would be abundantly clear, just ask any partner in your pyramid and I’m sure they would be happy to share
