If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Does anyone at Rutgers know where I can find a flexible part-time job for students on campus? I only found two campus positions on handshake and haven’t heard back from either yet. I feel like there has to be a lot more out there than what I’ve seen on handshake
Something similar to the digital classroom support specialist or tech help desk would be great. I consider myself tech savvy

Take the job while you look for a better one. It’s a paycheck and a chance to learn while you try find something that’s a better fit.
And if you can’t find anything, an AM spot might open up where you are anyway.
Great points, thanks!
Take the SEO role as the digital experience will line you up better for digital account roles in the future. Network with the the places you want to be at while you have a steady paycheck and gain overall industry experience.
Thank you! You’re 100% right that I should see this as an opportunity to gain digital experience. My main concern was taking the SEO role as opposed to an AM role and not liking it and then being “stuck” in SEO, but from your comment and the others, it sounds like the experience overall will help me and I won’t be stuck.
It’s depends on what your situation is like. Do you have some financial cushion or a friend’s place to crash at as you find other opportunities? Or do you need to get cash flow in ASAP? If you need the cash, then you need the cash - no one will blame you in a COVID economy. But if you do have a safety net of some kind, I’d recommend still looking for other options and jobs closer to an AM to stay relevant. Maybe even freelance if you feel comfortable.
