Do we get a severance package if we quit? Or is it only if you're fired?

I have an offer from IBM 7B band 18.5 LPA and 17 as ASR , what would be the in hand monthly salary ? I got promoted in my current organization and current fixed pay is 15lpa but in hand would be around 1.08 L per month. I wanted to analyse the difference between in hand monthly.

Hi all! for TikTok’s Brand Partnership Manager role, how hard has it been to hit quota? They offered a pretty low base with higher OTE.

Just scheduled a meeting to go over an offer for a Senior Engineer role. When asked what I would need to make in order to leave my current job, I said at least $160k depending on benefits (I know I shouldn't have given a number).

I make a little over $145k now, plus stock options, a monthly home office stipend (fully remote), and your usual health benefits.

Assuming their benefits are comparable to my current position, have I given up all negotiation power by providing the initial number?

A few days later, another email went out stating they had made a mistake which decreased the raise by $4/hr instead of $6 increase. Can they do that? I work for the government and can’t imagine how they made an error. This email went out to hundreds of employees.

I applied for a job at Google, but thought it would be unlikely they would even get an interview. I am not a typical FAANG candidate (older, remote, mostly experience with small companies, no internal referral, etc.) and worry I am wasting my time with these interviews. Client issue - I’m on one of my client’s supervisor’s “bad list.” Our firm requires updates every 60-90 days. Rarely miss sending reports on time, but some of the clients request updates every 20-30 days. I try to respond timely, but don’t always, often will just send a reply saying I will have this for you within 1 week or ASAP. Since October, one of the supervisors for this company will periodically email the head of our department (not cc’ing me) and say they are missing reports. (Cont.)

I just realized I’ll likely have a MAGI of over $124,000 this year and will have to reduce the amount I contribute to my Roth IRA. I don’t know exactly by how much and I’ve already contributed about $1,900 directly through my Roth IRA. Does anyone know if I can still do a backdoor Roth IRA for the remainder of the $6,000? Does the agile methodology work in your experience? For all the hoopla around scrum and agile, in my experience it is SO MUCH planning and readjusting and conssstant fight across teams with so many resources spent on planning and very little time/effort spent on actual development. Very inefficient and super bloated in my opinion.
