Hi all,
Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.
Thanks!

Because they get a kickback from the company as a percentage of transaction amt. And because ilthere are other insurance/risk management benefits that can be realized
Everything AC1 said and because it's easier and more cost efficient to police the system
The transactions can be directly imported into multiple expense processing systems.
Also keeps you from buying something, expensing it, and then returning it to collect the money.
That is usually tracked using a combination of the travel agency vendor and the corporate discount code. Tracking off the Amex data would be hard and wouldn't breakdown room nights, room revenue vs. food and beverage vs taxes. Etc.
@AC1 - You nailed it! Speaking like someone from the Finance Ops side! 🥂
Helps in reporting and Fraud prevention, but Sticking to just AMEX is kickback issue for sure
Centralized procurement helps negotiate better rates. They can easily tell Marriott how many millions they spend there a year and leverage that into better rates
