Feeling what I earned is so so so little even through I am earning about the average among the nation... Feel sad when I hear my brother-in-law's salary is four times of mine because the career path is basically different profession. I want to catch up to that level but its i possible in my path. This route just does t get paid that many. But to do something else require huge cost too and I dont know what else to do yet either. What is your advice?

The thief of joy, is comparison. You’re running an entirely different race from your BIL or anyone else. Honor your journey. If you want to change careers- do the cost-benefit, if it’s worth it, take the risk.

No one can tell you what’s best for you- only you. Spend time with yourself.
