First time butting heads with an MLR team with no solution in sight. Is this what my whole career will be if I stay in pharma advertising?

I work for a small agency and manage our internal marketing acct. We had very few processes in place when I started. I’ve since created, implemented, and trained our dept. on project mgmt for clients and am trying to convince the owner to apply those principles to our internal jobs.
