PwC India Hi Folks, I left my stable job at Deloitte USI and moved to Germany for a better job. But my mom had a major health issue and I'm planning to travel back to India to support her as I'm a single child. I'm working in one of the top organisation in Germany with a base of 90k euro and looking for good opportunities in India. McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

Yep...go get them
They missed by a lot on that one.....
Maybe it was something more serious and they used fuel as an excuse? By saying they don't have enough fuel they're admitting that someone ROYALLY fucked up during flight prep, and it's a super serious offense. It's like when we tell the clients that the only thing wrong with their house is that one insignificant light bulb is burnt out when in reality they're entire fucking house is burning down with their children in it.
There is almost no chance the flight took off with insufficient fuel. So you likely had a major weather diversion, were in a hold for a long time, etc. The other possibility is that there were very strong headwinds and the stop in STL was planned from the beginning.
Headwinds are extremely strong today, even for winter's standards. Your flight took off with the appropriate fuel or else it never would've left, but couldn't store enough within aircraft weight limits to get cross country with this weather. You're one of hundreds planning fuel stops today.
Yeah, what's the backstory here? Significant re-routing for weather?
Or it could just be an emergency landing that they didn't want to explain to passengers because people without aeronautical knowledge would have freaked tf out
The flight carrying those Brazilian soccer players crashed because of low fuel. It's a prett serious offense......
Google AA customer feedback and fill out the form online. Usually get a response within 2 days. Most I got was 15k miles for a 6 hours mechanical delay.
P1, that's exactly it. Smart man
