My relationship just ended yesterday because he wanted to “focus on myself and figure things out.” My relationship before that ended (~2 years ago) because he wanted to focus on himself. I can’t help but feel like it’s because something is wrong with me. What am I doing wrong?

How do you handle people’s kids showing up on video meetings? Screaming, kicking, hamming it up, (wasting time.) Everyone else is coo-ing…I’m not a kids person. Heard a technique which is to drop off the call bc you “assume the call is over” (which seems like a great way to get fired especially if it’s a way higher up’s kids - plus it feels rather passive aggressive.) I am deeply shocked and hurt for the kind of things she has spoken for me and for my family in front of everyone, I don’t want to live with her anymore, i am feel very low and lonely but i fear that they would drag my family to the court and imply fake FIR as they say and she said very clearly that she will not let me walk out of this marriage easily. Salam. 23M here - all my life I’ve had my back on our faith - never really prayed but had imaan (I guess). After bouts of depression from girl problems (🙄), issues within immediate family, being disappointed expectations I had for myself, etc. I’ve been working on bettering my situation over the years. Faith is the only area where I think I need more guidance. Having trouble relating to friends or family about this. Anyone else been thru something similar? How have you connected back to Islam?

It's been very difficult as a lot of recruiters only see the technical aspects of my previous role, even though I've added in some sales aspects from those roles. Any advice on how to break past the initial view of my resume/past technical experiences to get interviews?

A few extravert friends texted me over the weekend, panicking about WFH mandates and being socially isolated. I do not share their pain! Nice of them to care, though ❤️

The worst imaginable thing happened today. Someone tried to start multiple conversations with me in the quiet room of the library. Thank you all for your support during this difficult time.

When I get mild anxiety during a conversation I press my thumb agains one of my other fingers and it helps me relax a bit. Does anybody else do this? 😭
