Has anyone here had an interview with ad agencies like xaxis, mindshare?How’s the interview process like?

I have fear of interviews & rejection since I am trying to switch from manual to automation testing & have really less confidence. I have not appeared in any interviews before. How did you guys overcome the fear?

I got selected in Deloitte, after giving 3 rounds of interview.
Holding an offer of 8lpa.
In the salary discussion round with the HR I specified 12lpa(fixed) expected. They said, it is subject to business approval, and this amount is usually not met. But I stayed adamant and asked them to mention 12 itself. Have I made a mistake? will they ghost me?
Kindly share your thoughts.

I am a Unit Coordinator and I enjoyed what I was doing so much I took the time and spent the money to get certified. I was later told congratulations but my certification wouldn’t come with a pay increase, over the last couple months I spotted a new HUC position for a department I’ve been dying to get into for a while now and recently interviewed for the job. I just wondered what is a reasonable salary request if the question gets risen? I should also mention I have my BA and 1+ experience.

Seems like MBB is interviewing / hiring more experienced hires than usual right now. Any sense of whether the bar to land a job is lower than usual, or is it the same, just more open positions to fill?

Do people find a way to thank their recruiters that have helped them get through the hiring process? I have been going through the interview process and my recruiter has been an absolute delight to work with… is it weird to send like a Starbucks gift card or something?

Has anyone recently moved from Toronto GTA to Calgary. Just wanted some inputs on how the job market is and life in general. For context I have work experience in hardware tech sales and software sales (less than a year). Any specific industries and roles that are in demand.

Property and Casualty license. I decided to get into insurance after 10 years of retail. This is whole new industry for me so a little nervous about the classes to get this license. I was always a C grade kid in school and never really did well in test. I’m not a dummy though. I can pick up things if I see you do it and me try it after. I am a very visual learner and am able to learn new things. Wondering what’s your experience was with classes and test?

Is it super petty of me to keep calling and generally bugging potential clients when they ghost me and refuse to respond? To be clear, this is a policy I reserve for people who get way deep into the process, let we’re about to sign contracts, and then they just vanish.

3 YOE, BS in ChemE, experience is split between supply chain and process development responsibilities. I don’t have any direct sales experience but interact on a daily basis with engineers, scientists, and project managers. Presales roles look interesting to me due to the variety of clients and product solutions. Any advice?
