Although I get the logic behind it, I am a little concerned that it is a bit invasive. Unless the job is something that requires security clearances or something like that, I am not sure if this would be a good thing. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
Excuse me? I have never heard of that. I can understand perhaps how it can eliminate bias but even a psychologist has their own biases too.
Sounds like a monumental waste or resources to invade privacy. In an industry that struggles to quantify its financial value, expending additional resources in a way that is so invasive is an extraordinarily bad idea.
We do screen for bias and values during interviews without a psychological exam. Agreed that the use of a Dr - especially if the candidate doesn't know who their talking to - seems pretty invasive.
