How do I leave my role as someone on the talent team. I am on a small recruitment team of only a few people, who connect daily. I expect to be asked at some point, but my research has given me a VERY broad range. So I’m here to do a bit more research. I’ve got 5 very relevant years of experience and will have an associate manager directly reporting to me. Are there any marketers out there who can share their salaries in similar regions and experience levels?

How does one try to learn Altyrx with no experience and no (current) access to it? I work at a small firm and am going crazy with so many inefficiencies in repetitive tasks occupying myself and my staffs time. I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ. It's very annoying and I find it to be really inapprorpriate, maybe because it's pushy or just I find these comparative things to be a bit irrelevant. How does one handle something like that? Can you shut the person down without starting a spat?

What tech staffing agencies have you had the most success with? I feel like they can be a hit or miss but I do enjoy being a contractor.

Why is it that when ever I look at “entry level” jobs in IT they always want 2-4 years of experience. It’s entry level that means maybe some certifications if they didn’t major in the field or a degree in the field. Not 2-4 years already working in the field. Can someone please explain this to me?

What’s the shortest amount of time it’s respectable to be in a job before leaving?

I'm currently on £60k at a start up. Just got offered a job at a games company with a salary of £50k + 15% bonus 😖 I immediately spoke to them and told them that is way below my current salary and they raised to £56k + 15% bonus which would put me on £64.4k total comp. I've said I'll think about it and hope they raise the offer again.
Should I not consider this at all if they don't at least match my base? I have been aiming for £70k-£80k when looking at new jobs

Finally getting around to getting a CS degree. Taking a class taught in Haskell and a class taught in JS. In other words, a purely functional language which you can basically read just by looking at type signatures, vs... just no.
