So many fucked's. They're actually going to bump your salary down
Got a 4 with 56%. Pretty shitty but not the end of the world
D1, how did you recover from that 4? The only people I know of that received a 4 are no longer with the firm.
Util across my group is like 50%
OP built a development plan with counselor, communicated this plan with leadership (BA Champs and my counselor communicated with RSLL) absolutely killed my utilization and performance in next few projects.
Don't think they would fire you until they do an annual review on your second year. I managed to stay away from one and am on track for a 2
On the contrary, 1st years are easiest to staff. They come with no expectations and are discounted! Win-Win.
Which group is this
Sorry Talent Review***
Had 47% util but did well enoigh with initiatives to get a 3. Was told if I had hit utilization targets I would've got a 1 or 2. 1st year doesn't matter. Had a friend in the 30s
You'll get a 3
Had a mid 30% utilization first year. Got a 3 because I had many proposals and pursuits and internal initiatives. Hope you stayed busy
Depends on why
How is that possible?
SC1 - because there's not enough work going around to staff 1st years
Must be different here then. 1st years on the bench are common
@D3 I also recovered from a 4 at year end (got a 2 the next year) but not for utilization reasons. It happens but is definitely not the norm. Sadly the manager responsible for it is still with the firm, as well (but not the SM).
@OP 60 is a little low (first-year target is 75%) but it'll depend on how you compare to the other first-years in your service line. If overall utilization is low it could be overlooked
Thats when you get the resume out and switch firms
90% you'll get a 4. 60% util. is pretty low. Depends on the overall BTA util. Average. I know two BTAs whise util is over 120%, both of them are in the M&A space. If you're M&A, I'd start looking for another job. Good luck!
FYI s&o BA. Half my office start class will be within a few % pts
