You hire smart people in the first place
I didn't hire 'em😄
That's quite common, people work on their own comfort. These people are quite insensitive.
Stop taking calls. Then they will forcefully migrate it to mail or pings.
Politely inform them to mail for any query or discussion.
Take care of your baby, do not bother about these 'C' log. :)
Yeah .. nobody cares what the other person is going through, without thinking will just call.. for silly things which if they had checked properly it could have been found, but no these people wouldn't try anything will just call in the first try.. thanks I try to ignore but it consumes my energy so much
I prefer not taking a couple of calls and pinging them on teams saying "hey I was a little occupied. Can't talk on call. Plz let me know here" 🙃

If got iPhone, Crete an work focus mode and personal focus mode..
Will help you a lot
I would be open with them.
Will say something in these lines " Hi i would appreciate if you dont directly call. So going fwd ping me amd i will respond when im free for a call . If you call without any notification i could be doing something that requires continuous focus. Any interuption will decrease my productivity" do this couple of times. If that doesn't work you may need to convey in a stronger note.
Thanks for the suggestion, will definitely try it!
Ask them to send mail even for a small query or ask them to setup a call
First thing, it’s MS Teams where people don’t know anything about social boundaries.
They don’t understand a simple thing that, you shouldn’t call someone for trivial things just because it is fu**ing easy and you can do it with a single click.
That’s why I prefer Slack + WebEx. You ask beforehand or setup a meeting.
Put yourself on DND and let them call you 5-6 times. Just don’t pick.
If he/she is a fresher, ek din side mei lekar samjha do ke “Kayade mei rahoge toh fayade mei rahoge”.
Haha.. No
Point it out in meeting, don’t pick a call and ask in the meeting what was the issue he /she called for.
Block him/her
You can put a status or auto reply on skype or teams. ‘ I wouldn’t be able to entertain through chat , email me if anything urgent’
I know how irritating it is, when people just directly call and don’t even bother to see that I am in another meeting. Also, recently I am coming across people who will take another calls when I am on a netting them. It’s a 30 mins meeting, we have and agenda and there is a hard stop. You can’t pick up calls.
Exactly.. No professionalism
Raise your tone and explain him or her that trivial things can be discussed on call and before calling check the status. Not sure what age this person is at..even freshers have basic manners.
I think you are very polite. You can set status to DND or ask them wait for 10 min then they will ping again..then say I am not done yet..please wait for another 10 min..basically let them reach out to you 5-6 times..then you can say sorry and cover up by saying I was really doing something imp..do this many times..they will get tired and stop..if they don't..please leave that team..
