Amex people thoughts on this offer, as I have recently(4 months back) joined a startup with Base(33) and CTC(35.5) but not enjoying the work here. Amex brand tag and culture is good.
Hence, considering the offer, does this offer look good or is there any scope of improvement? Amex American Express

I mean this depends on literally so much
Really depends on so many things - not very useful to compare. I have the same TC and I’m 28.
Manager/Senior Manager seems reasonable. At kpmg, associate director is the equivalent of non client facing manager.
That TC is super low though.

Sounds like people don't know about salary compression here. If you've been with the same company and have limited technical skills or a limited track record of selling work probably reasonable. If you're a hot commodity, aka sales in the hundred millions or been a technical director/led successful rollout of xyz, then probably higher
I think this is a bit difficult to address bc it depends on 1) ur yoe in consulting 2) relevant non-consulting experience 3) firm hierarchy
If ur TC is 150k today, generally, that equates to Senior Consultant / Senior Associate level... I mean, that’s like the newly minted MBA hire comp level...
