Hi Fishes,
I am at a career standpoint where i am really confused what to do.
I have 4+ yoe in RPA .I really dont think its sustainable as a career .I am willing to learn and move into something different.
But what i am really confused is how would i manage to switch jobs without any prior experience?
I already earn 13-15 lpa,why would anyone offer me same level of package without experience?
People who do a successful career switch, please share your stories. In need of some motivation
Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. It feels like I will never learn & be forever stuck here. Pls help on how to come out of comfort zone, learn things and apply for the job. Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

Hello 🦈s,
Role: SAP ABAP
Current: 8 LPA
I am having offer from LTI for 10.5 Fixed & 1 Mouritech for 12 LPA Fixed.
I have also cleared PwC India interview & HR has told me that they can give me 10.5 as Fixed (Before 12 offer). I have not yet received the offer letter.
Now my question is will PwC consider this offer for the re-negotiation? Or will they not release the offer letter itself?
Also what should be my ask for a SAP ABAP Developer with experience of 3.3 Years?
Thanks in Advance 🙏

I’m a first year (class of ‘23). I graduated with around 150 people. Already, 10 or so have jumped from BL firm to BL firm. Another 5 from mid to BL, or BL to government. The class above us (‘22), had a similar number of jumps a little after the one year mark. 2 even went in-house. I just interviewed in-house at a Fortune 500. I think a move is possible. Just be very serious about applying and networking! Let people you trust know (discreetly) that you’re looking, and they’ll share opportunities with you that they know of!
I would make a move but not go in house just yet. It's too early to go to decide that law firm life is not for you.
This was my experience when I was a first year. Everybody that I liked working with and felt comfortable with had left and I didn’t enjoy where I was at and my lifestyle. I ended up moving inhouse, which took some time to get used to (it not being crazy) but it’s been a positive move for me. A few others in my class also moved inhouse when I did as well.
Try a NAMWOLF firm. https://namwolf.org/
There's also government. You don't have to exit altogether. It will be harder to go in house later if you exit law this early. There's an in house bowl if you're looking for more advice specific to that route.
