You have options.
First you need to understand the difference between restricted and unrestricted reporting sources.
Your commanding officer is an unrestricted reporting source. Meaning they are obligated to formally investigate your complaint, report up the chain, and will jit keep it private.
Restricted reporting may be made to a Victims Advocate, the Chaplian, a Sexual Assault Response Coordinater.
If I doubt ask if the person you are talking to is a restricted or unrestricted reporting source.
In this instance what you are describing, retaliation for reporting sexualharassment, is actually a more serious offense. You may now have grounds for a civil rights complaint. Victim reporting is a protected class.
I recommend you visit a Chaplain. There are definitely a restricted reporting source. You can confidentially explain the details without fear of reprisal. The Chaplain can explain your options for filing a formal complaint.
I feel strongly that you probably have a valid civil rights complaint. Once initiated you will be protected. If you are afraid if you command tell the chaplain and you will be removed while the complaint is investigated by a higher headquarters.
As a 21 year Retired Army MP you are exactly right! I could have not advised any better than that.
You need to go back to whoever you did your report with and report retaliation. Document everything, dates, times, people, witnesses, comments etc. if you report it, it will be handled! Have faith as they handled your first situation. Here if you need support as I’ve been through it myself!
Yep this here
I'm sorry that you are going through this. You did the right thing by standing up for yourself and reporting your supervisor, and you deserve better treatment from your co-workers. Why are they taking his side anyway? They deserve to be removed as well.
The "good Ole Boys Club" is strong in the technician program, sadly. I should say not all coworkers. There are about 11 employees at this site, and about 5 of them think I'm wrong for reporting, and it was "just jokes," but I had enough.
