I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Listen, a bully is a bully simply because they scare you. That is their main job, to cause fear. The fact that you stood up to him is a HUGE step in your personal growth and development. Take a moment and take a victory lap for your accomplishment today because some people go their WHOLE LIVES without doing what you just did. Good vibes sent. You're a BEAST!! ^_^
I'm inspired by this post. I have a work bully as well that I have been itching to put in their place. I have just been too scared to do it. You've just taught me something. I can do both. I can be scared and tell them what I need to tell them. Life is too short, and we are in high school dammit. Now I might lose some sleep... LOL We got this though! Here to putting our bullies in their place!
I'm proud of both of you!!
Ditto!
I'm really proud of you. And that you're letting yourself feel all of the things that are no doubt warranted in the situation. Way to stand up for yourself. I wish you all the best tomorrow as you face him. Even if you feel like you're going to throw up the whole time, you're doing the right thing. (Oh, and just don't forget deodorant!) ;) Please keep us updated.
Good for you! You did the right thing. Bullies are usually projecting some deeply rooted insecurities they have and when they realize that you're not one to be trifled with, they'll probably think twice before trying to mess with you again.
My advice is simple. Take care of your mental health. This too shall pass.
🙌🏼 for you for standing up to the bully! You’re still processing this which is why all these feelings are flooding you. Maybe write out what you want to say. Leave emotion out of it. You got this, go finish the job! 💪🏼
Thabk you all! It really means so much ❤️
As a follow up - this person declined our touch base today but he and I continued the work in pre scheduled meeting today. Multiple members of management were on the call so he behaved very well (no surprise).
I did talk to both my Manger and his manager today. I'm not sure anything will actually come of this but at a minimum I hope he understands that I won't tolerate being bullied
This situation happened all over a direct message, so, fortunately for me but unfortunately for him, he documented his own behavior for me. His manager was very respctive of the feedback - I actually respect his manager a lot. His manager has copies of the DM.
I'm not going to HR at the moment. I trust his manager to do the right thing in this case.
