If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

They don’t care. But the sooner you can get them done the better. It’s harder than you realize to study and work while wanting any level of personal life.

They dont care.

If you hit s3 without it, they wont promote you and enjoy a manager at senior pay.

helpful

Get them done before you start because they you won’t have to work and study. It just looks better on you and nice to have it all out of the way. I passed by last exam 2 days before I started. Not required at all, but nice not to have to worry about it later.

Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time.
