A management consultant can easily skip SDR and potentially Inside Sales for a outside sales role and crush that salary at the right place. Consultative selling is the hardest thing to skill up - the rest is tactical. Look at startup SaaS to build 1-2 years experience and then pivot to the big tech co’s. My advice - don’t take an SDR role. You’re overqualified. I’m a big proponent of work from the bottom up, but in this market, consultative sellers are in high demand and mgmt consulting experience is a huge plus.

Not immediately but within a couple years if you perform- here’s a general expectation of your tech career progression and salary range:
BDR - 12-18mths - 75-100k OTE with a 60/40 split
inside rep/SMB/comm 2-5yrs - 115-200k with a 50/50 split
Outside/enterprise -5+ yrs - 250-350k with a 50/50 split
