In a new situation and curious for thoughts. Went from field sales to inside sales with a company that sifted out a lot of the cross functional sales support team over the last year, turning sellers into order takers/processors and broken process navigators who are constantly on the backfoot.

Have interviewed at a few places for better roles, but found myself unable to properly sell into the new roles due to soul crushing day to day.

Any tips on how to get out? Went inside for family needs.

I'm at an early stage tech start up and gaining experience in an industry that I like. However, I am getting no formal training or sales coaching. Everything I've done so far (Inc. Targeted marketing and prospecting) has been self taught and I feel like I am lacking professional knowledge if I was to move onto a different company, especially considering that I am not involved in the full sales cycle.

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Meanwhile I'm taking other interviews and was offered a promotion at current company, but was very interested in this one. What would you do?

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster.
