Interested in what other roles may be out there for someone that doesn’t want to be a financial advisor but has all the qualifications. 10 YOE with series 7, 66 and 63 life and health insurance and about to have my ChFC. I always loved the client side of things and relationship management but was never into the investment management side- this far into the finance world just trying to find other roles that align with my experience but may be more personally satisfying.

I prepared a presentation for an interview with a sales leader, it went well and I was offered a final interview with regional manager. The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I’m having a really hard time with my changing body. 13 weeks, I don’t have too many bad side effects of pregnancy or anything so I consider myself lucky (no nausea ever etc) but I’m depressed at work, my skin is completely broken out and showing new broken face capillaries, and I’m not showing a bump yet so I just feel fat and big. I don’t know where this “glow” is but I look in the mirror and literally am grappling with not recognizing myself :( it’s been impossible to find any clothes too.
