I had my interview with Cognizant last month. HR round and salary discussion was completed on 27th September. The HR said offer letter would be released within 2weeks. Now it's already 2weeks. But I didn't hear back from the HR. What shall I do?Accenture Accenture India Tata Consultancy Capgemini

I’d ask: does the title come with real responsibility, or is it just window dressing? If you’ll actually be leading, setting process, building playbooks—then yeah, it’s a legit career accelerator. But if you’re still just carrying a quota with a fancier email signature, I’d think twice.
It can be nice to have a title, but you have to ask if it carries any credibility or actual prestige in a real sense. If you have a lofty title at a small company, what does that really mean? And given that you can't take your title to the grocery store and spend it, you might be better off not taking a financial hit for something that sounds better.
Title bumps can open doors, but only if the role actually gives you the experience to match. If "Head of Sales" means building strategy, hiring, and scaling a team, it could be a great long-term play. But if it’s just a glorified AE role with less pay, might not be worth it. What’s the growth potential like?
Titles are always nice to have. Especially, if you can demonstrate that you were in a leadership role. Sr. AE sounds like an independent salesperson. If management or leadership is your ultimate goal, it might be worth it.
It depends on how much you value your independence. I’ve been tapped several times for a management position, and have always declined. I cherish the flexibility and ownership of my own little world. Go with what your gut says.
I will say, titles do matter. I once got a job and they offered me one title and then when I started they had given me the title below that and I did make a big fuss because titles on a resume matter. I would look at how much more responsibility you will be taking on as well.
