Is there a place for CRM in product management role? Currently doing CRM implementation at big 4 and wondering if what I am doing now can lead to potentiometer path in PM

Yes. I am the SF product owner at an end user. It’s a functional role. Right now it’s acting as go between the SI and the line of business. Once we go live it will focus on product enhancement through the agile process. Handing off the user stories to an in-house development team. To be honest functional roles are harder to find. Companies tend to gloss over the need.

DM is fine

Need to confirm if you are doing project management currently, as in overseeing the implementation or if you doing product ownership items such as discovery, backlog grooming release management leading the scrum teams on prioritize items that need to be delivered etc.

I look more into the product ownership role

It’s more of a senior manager role working in industry. If you’re an associate level (1-4 yrs exp), look for “product owner” roles at clients you work with

Does product owner lead to pm? I thought product owner is more delivery focused

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

AWS has prestige but is it worth it?

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut. I am extremely over qualified for the position but it could possibly be a stepping stone and gives me the time to acquire SHRM certifications and possibly start taking classes to get my MBA. My question is those currently in an HR role, would this move make sense to you?

My background is in tech transactional. I joined a cybersecurity SaaS startup at the end of last year and now also handle more generalist matters in addition to all things commercial-related. I have a number of books on contracts that I’ve found super helpful over the years (The Tech Contracts Handbook, A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting, Sign Here, etc.). Can anyone recommend books they’ve found helpful for L&E matters, privacy matters, product matters, or marketing/advertising matters?

Anyone wanna give me constructive criticism on my portfolio? 😪

I have an associate's degree in graphic design and work designing wedding stationery. I've been at my company since 2016, and am now a design consultant - speaking to customers directly and creating custom artwork and designs for them. I know I'm underpaid (50k/year in the SF Bay Area) but I thought the benefits and stability were worth it. I'm now severely burnt out (most of my team is) and not sure which way to go, or how to grow. Any tips/advice?

Thanks!
