Is there a point to lateraling from one of the big 4 L&E firms to another?

Had enough of Big4 consulting. What’s a good industry job for a 3 year experience big 4 consultant?

What are thoughts in transitioning from Life Sci Consultant to a Medical Science Liaison for a large pharma? Is that a lateral move or a downgrade?

currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

I’m four months into my job and I got put onto a PIP. I worked so hard to break into IB, put up all the hours and even working 2am nights for weeks, learned a ton, and improved a lot along the way as the sole analyst yet this happens. I’m extra worried because it doesn’t seem there’s IB analyst positions out there. Im really hoping come January more positions come up but I’m just praying they don’t fire me until then. Question on how to proceed. I have an action that is required to be heard within 30 days. It was filed 3 months ago and hasn't even been assigned a judge. I've emailed the clerk a few times requesting a docket number so I can at least serve D's. Yet absolutely nothing. Is this common in New Jersey? I think I'm going to submit a formal letter to the court but what else can I do?

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now. Thoughts on making the shift?
