I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

I’m too sorry you had to go through this, but happy you are brave to share your experience. I too am experiencing something similar. I recently left a firm doing what I love, but was convinced by friends and a recruiter to pursue a bigger firm for more money and broader recognition. I listened. And I hate it there. One of the partners is a nightmare, and unfortunately leads the group. The partner goes out of the way to look for emails, in which the partner is not copied on, to suggest revisions. Not sure if the partner does this on purpose or is trying to push me out. What I’ve learned from my situation (and yours) the legal profession is challenging. Encountering a road block (or a poor leader) won’t stop your success, rather it’s the universe opening another door for you. Whether it’s another position or an opportunity to grow from adversity. Best of luck in your new position. I’m sure there’ll be other opportunities doing what you love
So sorry to hear you're going through something similar. It really sucks and causes so much unnecessary stress and anxiety. My anxiety has been crazy because of the people I work for. I left ID thinking I was going to greener pastures and sadly the grass is not always greener on the other side. I hope you're able to get out of your situation. Money and prestige are not worth feeling this way.
if I'm being pushed out as no steady work flow. I get snarky comments all the time. We aren't allowed to wfh so when I've had to due to being sick or having a home repair, I've been reported to management. I am happy to be leaving the firm to work with an old mentor who really values me and is genuinely a good person. However, it is back to insurance defense. I am sad to feel forced out of a practice area I like. I applied to other firms that do what I like, but I'm scared to end up working for a psycho again. What I value most is working for someone who respects, appreciates me and will mentor me. Just can't help but feel bummed it didn't work out doing the area of law I like more
Are you... me!? This was my experience 2 years ago.
This is atrocious and feel a deep pain in my chest just reading it. Maybe one of us can give you a referral to our firms if you state areas you'd be willing to relocate to!
It's not easy to find the perfect job, but don't give up hope. It may take some time and effort, but there are good people and employers out there who will value your skills and abilities. Keep networking, applying to firms that align with your values, and take advantage of any mentorship opportunities that come your way. Remember that your career is a journey, and it's okay to pivot and try new things along the way. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors!
I have also felt I’ve had these experiences. And it stinks because it’s like we have to take our beatings in silence if we do not want to commit career suicide… but so many of us have these experiences and far too often. So sorry you’re going through this. You will get through and you will find your place. Start looking so you can make a smooth transition. My last firm (small) asked me to retract a resignation and termed me less than a week later. So def go with your gut and don’t look back.
What is your desired practice area? For what it's worth, I think going back to work with your mentor and then looking again could work out really well. When you get an opportunity, be honest with your mentor about how much you actually loved working on [desired practice] and let them know that you really appreciate them for getting you out of a bad situation but you want to still explore [desired practice]. True mentors will definitely help you achieve those goals. Good luck!
