PwC is not a small firm. If they let go of someone there must be a valid reason that you are not really saying it out here making it hard for others to help

KPMG1: do you have to open your mouth here? Keep speculating if that is bothering you so much. I never said PwC is small, I said practice is small. There is huge diff.
OP, you got a 2 the pass two years and were staffed? Even if practice is doing bad why would they fire you? Part of your revenue from your staffed project should go to your practice lead. This has me worried, are you sure there were no warning signs relative to performance? A SAs main responsibility is project related not practice related.
Hey OP, my bf was in your boat but for another company. He was also on visa and He got laid off without giving specific feedback. Before he was laid off, he has gotten amazing feedbacks from his boss, his reports were featured on the company website and he was working for multiple projects..... when he heard the news, we were all very shocked. Then, we realized it might because of non-performance related. For example, he was the only ethnic person in his group and he didn’t socialize... no saying this happened to you but just want share some perspective

Haha guys, chill. I am below manager. So it's bs reason as practice is not doing good. Mid year was not great or killing but ok. Last 2 years killed at 2. So don't know what went wrong

Look Industry. KPMG doesn't sponsor these days. Deloitte's immigration law firm is a joke while EY is seeing lots of rejections daily.

SM1: it was on spot termination so I didnot get any time to ask for feedback. I was told there is not much impact in practice from me at SA Level. I feel it was premeditated decision but not know the basis of that decision.
Not a RIF technically speaking, but suspect an effort to cull those non high performers or those difficult to staff
