What’s your top 3 change management books from the last 5 years? (Trying to refresh and read up again!)

What are some good books to read, materials or classes about how to be a more effective PM? And about communication management, recos are gladly accepted.

My teammate is leaving for a new opportunity soon and I will be floating by myself for a few months. Would anyone be able to provide me with any solid books that pertain to our field? I'm open to anything for creative, people manager 101, digital marketing, career motivating, etc. Trying to swim along to find my new normal and be self motivated.

There's a ton of self help and leadership books out there to help people in their careers. If there was one that was written front the lense of a public accounting, would you read it?

Our senior creative leadership keep talking about winning Cannes Lions and D&AD pencils but none of them have actually won any since 2007 (that’s 14 years 😭 ) and between all three of them they’ve never won more than a couple of silvers, a couple of bronzes and a couple of in-books (that’s with a combined experience of over 60 years 😭). They have no clue 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭. Tell me something about your agency so that I can feel better about the hell-hole I find myself in🙏

I'm an account manager, but want to get better at helping and managing my team. So, I've started doing some of the copywriting myself so I can get a better feel for what's involved, what's needed, and how I can help others improve. I recently attended an SEO conference and then spent a weekend reading everything I can get my hands on. I've also got a reading list I'm building out. I lead a team of women (ranging from 2-8 years into their careers) and want to advocate for their career growth with management. hadn't worked with a female co-worker since starting this job, recently met a mindblowing amazing person who just got promoted to manager. she loves reading, any suggestions on female leadership books

I don’t think I have enough saved (80-100k) to justify a financial advisor. But I also was never taught/learned about money management and planning. Are there any good resources or books in which I could learn about how to invest in my retirement?

A2A promotes - do you ever have regrets about not going the MBA route?

I'm an engineer w/ BS/MS, have had engineer, PM and Tech Sales roles. I am interested in consulting and would love to speak more with some current employees about a referral! I am curious about the different job functions available. I've taken the GMAT as well to apply to MBA programs, unsure about how important bschool is in order to break into consulting.

Interested in getting others perspective here. Senior consultant but received an offer in healthcare industry for more money and an upgraded title. TC for the offer is about a 25% increase, with the base being higher than my current TC. Currently working on a high profile client and have a decent chance of being promoted to manager next year but will probably go through hell this year to get it and it’s not a sure thing. Should I take the money and run?

How to deal with change? 1 year out of college and living with 3 of my best friends, just talked about living together for next year but they are all moving to new cities. Another friend is moving to my city so I’ll be living with them but I can’t help but feel a little lonely/like a huge stage of my life is over. Any tips for dealing with this change? I guess I also feel a little guilty because I’m pretty covid conservative so I’ve turned down social outings this past year because of that.
