Looking to exit from a big4 Audit, SM in Canada. Considering options in a small boutique firm as a principal $200+ or a credit union as VP $180+. Both aren’t flashy, so kind of worried that I might be shooting my career. Any insights from people who’ve made similar moves?

Advice needed: looking to leave public accounting and tax for good. I have two offers between a financial analyst and an accountant role. Based on your experience, which of the two has the best/better exit opportunities (should I decide to pursue the finance realm or something else) and better work life balance? The bigger pay as an analyst is tempting, but the company benefits are meh.

How long is normal to wait to hear back from a final round ?

I’ve received several take home assignments that clearly use real company data or give a good indication to a company’s future strategy. If I wanted to be petty, assuming I haven’t signed any NDA or fine print promising secrecy, could I share this information publicly without facing legal repercussions?
